Keith Raniere’s ex calls NXIVM leader ‘sociopath’ who’s terrorized her with lawsuits

There’s no love lost between alleged NXIVM sex cult leader Keith Raniere and his ex-girlfriend — who showed up in court Friday just to see him squirm.

Toni Natalie says Raniere is a “sociopath” who has harassed and terrorized her ever since she broke up with him nearly two decades ago.

Since 1999, Raniere and his minions have hassled her with lawsuits, Natalie said.

“It’s terrorism by litigation,” Natalie, 59, said outside Brooklyn federal court, where Raniere appeared at a pretrial hearing. “For me to see him held accountable, it’s pretty important.”

About the authors

Toni Natalie spent eight years with Keith Raniere, as his girlfriend and business partner. She watched as he  transformed himself from multi-level marketing guru into the cult leader known as Vanguard. When Toni finally left him, he threatened her: “I will see you dead or in jail.” He was half right.

Chet Hardin is the only journalist to play a midnight game of volleyball with actress Allison Mack, Seagram heiress Clare Bronfman, and the now-notorious Keith Raniere.
